The existing standpipe system at Mayo Clinic, Rochester failed its five-year test, requiring an upgrade.
Scope:
Replacing the existing fire pump with two (2) new fire pumps, eliminating the need for pressure reducing valves.
Unique Project Factor(s):
Fore nearly one year, we consulted with Mayo Clinic’s project manager and an engineer of Michaud Cooley Erickson to work towards a solution that provided the least disruption in Mayo Clinic’s operations and to insure regulatory compliance.
